| The
Creek Side Lodge @ Walker Creek Retreat |
|
| The
Creek Side Lodge is located on the banks of the New
River's largest tributary in Virginia and is the perfect
mountain lodge. The lodge sleeps 10 very comfortably.
The lodge is fully furnished and all linens and towels
are supplied at no extra cost. The lodge has three
bedrooms and two bathrooms. Sleeping arrangements
include a twin bunk, twin/double bunk, one twin bed,
a double bed, and a queen bed. The fully equipped
kitchen includes a coffee maker, microwave, dishes,
pots and pans, and utensils. In addition to the bedrooms,
the lodge has a dining room, and two living rooms
totaling approximately 2000 square feet of living
space. The lodge also includes a 1000 square foot
deck overlooking the creek which has quickly become
a favorite of our big groups and families alike. The
main living room includes DISH satellite television
and a VCR/DVD. The lodge is fully air-conditioned
and heated as well. This lodge is great for the family
looking to enjoy a weekend getaway, multi-families
looking to stay together, or the group of fishermen
(over 1/2 mile of excellent light-tackle wade-fishing
opportunities) looking to stay together comfortably
at an affordable cost. Smoking is not allowed in the
lodge, and pets are not allowed on the property (there
is a kennel w/in 10 minutes of the property). |
