It is understood that:
1.
Payments: The amount of $ is due upon departure with the $ reservation deposit due now by CC. Please call 540-921-7438 for
CC, and mail this completed form to Canoe the New Outfitters, LLC, 1112 Wenonah
Ave., Pearisburg, VA 24134.
2.
Occupancy:
1.
Check-In
date/time: 3:00
PM. Check-Out time: 11:00 AM.
2.
Guest
agrees to honor check-in and check-out times. Additional fees will be charged
if these times are not honored. If the property is not vacated at check out
time, Canoe the New Outfitters or Canoe the New’s agent is hereby authorized to
remove guest’s belongings from property at guest’s expense.
3.
No
pets are allowed in the cabins;
4.
Absolutely
no house parties. If a house party attempts to occupy the property, the group
will be asked to leave and all monies will be forfeited.
5.
Guest
hereby authorizes Canoe the New’s employees and/or contractors to access the
property as may be deemed necessary for repairs and maintenance.
3.
Disturbance: Occupancy and use of the
premises and amenities shall not be in a manner to disturb area residents or
other guests. Canoe the New owners have the right to terminate this agreement
and ask disruptive guests to vacate and all monies will be forfeited.
4.
Telephones: Canoe the New, as a convenience,
provides a telephone for their Creekside Cabin guests for local calls only.
Long distance calls are not to be billed to the cabin’s phone. All long
distance calls must be made collect or applied to the guest’s calling card. If
long distance calls are made/billed to the cabin phone, guest will be billed
for all calls charged to the phone and a $10.00 collection fee. In the event
that someone would need to call you at the cabin, the phone number is (540)
921-2821.
5.
Laundry: Use of the washer and dryer is only for Canoe the New employees. There is a drying rack in the laundry room
for you to hang out your wet items to dry.
6.
Accident: The owners, agents, officers
and/or employees of Canoe the New Outfitters, LLC assume no responsibility for
accidents, injuries or loss from any cause.
7.
Damage: Guest agrees to be responsible for all
damages and/or excessive cleaning expenses caused by members of the guest’s
party and agree to pay for all costs, including collection costs and attorney
fees, incurred as a result of such damages.
8.
Repairs: Owner is not responsible for
guest’s belongings that are lost, stolen, or left behind. Canoe the New
reserves the right to access the cabins at any time to make necessary repairs.
9.
Cancellation: Before 28 days of check-in:
Your deposit will be refunded minus a $50 cancellation fee. Within 28 days of
check-in: Your entire deposit will be forfeited. Any cancellations made within
48 hours of check-in will be charged in full to the credit card in which the
guest paid the deposit.
10.
Security Deposit: A $150 security deposit will
be included in the overall total for groups of 5 and over and will be refunded
to the guest within 14 days of departure. The refund check will include
invoices for any charges or damages, if any, against the deposit.
11.
Property Rules:
1.
When
entering the property off of Broad Hollow Road onto Tabor Hollow Road, please
check for oncoming traffic and wait for them to pass before you proceed.
2.
Absolutely
no pulling over onto neighbors’ grass will be tolerated upon entering the
property.
3.
No
littering on Canoe the New’s or adjacent property owners’ land.
4.
Please
maintain a maximum speed limit of 5 mph upon entering the property from Tabor
Hollow Road.
5.
No
loud music will be tolerated, and all music should be turned off at 10 pm.
6.
Please
refrain from public display of drinking alcohol while outside of the
cabin. We wish to maintain a family
atmosphere, and ask that if you should decide to partake in drinking alcohol,
please keep it inside the cabins or use cups or coozies.
7.
GUESTS MAY NOT WONDER THE PROPERTY WITHOUT PERMISSION OF CANOE THE
OUTFITTERS, LLC
because of inherent dangers that may exist. Guests may fish in the creek
directly in front of the creek side cabin. All guests wishing to explore the
property and fish in other areas must contact Canoe the New Outfitters, LLC,
read and sign a waiver and release of liability form, and receive a thorough
orientation before undertaking these activities. There are no exceptions to
this rule, and guests not abiding by this rule will be asked to leave and
forfeit their monies.
8.
Property
rule #7 includes roaming for firewood. All guests must contact Canoe the New
before collecting firewood.
9.
Fishing
is CATCH AND RELEASE only. No cleaning of fish is to take place on Canoe
the New property (even if caught on another body of water.)
10.
A
health department approved privy is provided for restroom use at the campground
and rustic cabin.
11.
All
fires must be built in designated rock fire pits. Do not disassemble the fire
pits for any reason. Charges will apply.
12.
No
exception to these property rules will be tolerated, and Canoe the New
Outfitters, LLC retains the right to ask the guest and members of the guest’s
party to leave and all monies will be forfeited if these rules are violated.

Welcome
to the New River Valley!!
Please arrange a time to stop by our town location
to check in before heading to the cabin. At that time, we will give you the
keys, directions, and also a brief orientation on the property rules. Copies of
the cabin and campground rules have been sent to you prior to your arrival and
are in the cabin as well. Please make sure that your entire group has read and
understand ALL of the rules upon arrival. Note: No
exceptions to the rules will be tolerated. If the rules are violated, Canoe
the New Outfitters, LLC and it’s employees retain the right to demand guests
and/or members of guests’ party to leave immediately, all monies will be
forfeited, and extra charges may be applied to the guests’ account. If you have

A
Few Reminders:
Check-in
time is 3:00 pm and check-out time is 11:00 am unless otherwise
arranged prior to your stay.
The speed
limit on Tabor Hollow Road is 5mph. There are pets and children that
play on this road!!
Please use garbage bags and place in trash containers provided outside. Raccoons love garbage, so please make sure you secure the garbage can tops.
Leave
the refrigerator and freezer controls as they are. Please allow time for your food to cool after putting it in the
fridge.
Do
not move furnishings outdoors and do not rearrange furniture indoors.
When
checking out, take sheets off beds and leave in pile on bed, dishes must be
washed and put away, clean out the refrigerators and freezers, take out garbage
and leave the cabin neat.
