The
front two rooms and porch on this newly remodeled
cabin are over 100 years old, and the back part of the cabin is
over 50 years old. Every effort has been made to keep its rustic character while adding modern conveniences. The Tabor Hollow Cabin sits at the bottom of
a beautiful 15 acre pasture, about 75 yards up a small road from
the Creek. |
| The Tabor Hollow Cabin can sleep up to 5 comfortably. There are
two bedrooms, a living room, full bathroom, and a
kitchenette. |
| "Early mornings, BIG bass, and late-night fires are some of my favorite things, and all are here at the (Tabor Hollow cabin). This is our third "father-son" fishing trip to this location, and it keeps getting better every year. It is a great place to get out, away from the city, and enjoy life how it was meant to be. We will be coming back for many more years." |
 |
| "We really enjoyed the (Tabor Hollow) cabin! It was very peaceful and quiet. We felt very comfortable here" |
|
| A shelter, charcoal grill, and fire ring are located directly adjacent to the cabin. |
| Although over 100 years old, the Tabor Hollow Cabin has a 20th century bathroom that features a shower, sink, and toilet. The kitchenette includes a sink, small range/oven, mid-sized fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and other cooking amenities. The cabin is fully heated and air-conditioned. Bed linens and towels are provided. The living room includes a TV/VCR and DISH satellite. |
| Wildlife viewing, hiking, canoeing, fishing, and camping, etc.
are just a few of the activities that can be enjoyed

"My wife and I had a great stay. This is exactly what I think of when I picture a cabin. The peace and quiet is refresshing...with creation abounding all around it makes one want to shout with gladness. Great are the works of the Lord." |
| "This year we eschewed our normal vacation to the beach or another city for a relaxing week in the woods. Any boy, we are glad we did. Britt and Leigh, you place and outfit you've got here is wonderful. You were both wonderful for taking such good care of us...Thanks for opening this place (Tabor Hollow Cabin) to us. We'll be back." |
|
Smoking
is not allowed in the cabin, and pets are not allowed
on the property (there is a kennel within 10 minutes
