in the beautiful New River Valley, Walker Creek Retreat
is quietly located on the largest tributary to the
New River in Virginia. Our cabins are perfect for
fishermen, river goers, outdoor enthusiasts, vacationers,
families, and for those wishing to enjoy the pleasures
of the New River Valley. |

Sitting
around a camp fire with the rippling sounds of the
creek in the background, tubing in the cool waters,
getting reacquainted with your old fly rod, or simply
reading a book while basking in the sun on one of

cabins has it's own unique character to suit the different

| The
mighty New River in Giles County, VA, considered
a world-class fishery, is relatively undiscovered
in comparison to the nearby James and Shenandoah Rivers.
In addition, this area of the New River offers some
of the best paddling trips in the state of Virginia.
The Appalachian Trail, New River Trail State Park,
and Jefferson National Forest are just minutes away
from our cabins and provide a plethora of outdoor
activities including mountain biking, hiking,
camping, hunting, etc. |

are conveniently located just 25 minutes
from Blacksburg and Radford, 45 minutes from Roanoke,
2 hours from Greensboro, Charlotte, and Winston
Salem, 3 hours from Raleigh/Durham, and 4 1/2 hours
from the Northern Virginia and Washington, DC area. |

| Walker
Creek Retreat can lodge up to 25 persons utilizing
all three cabins. Graduations, family reunions,
and fishing clubs are just a few examples of groups
