New River is known for it's monster smallmouth population and
our guide service undoubtedly averages admirable numbers of big,
mature smallmouth bass (4lb+ range) every season on our guided
fishing trips. However, to land a "true" 5-pound river
smallmouth (no 1/8oz. given here!) is an accomplishment that not
every angler gets to experience in his/her lifetime. We are extremely
proud of our anglers who have reached that milestone and this
page is dedicated to those who have joined the "FIVE POUND
CLUB." It's no easy task, but if you are looking
